Leeuwin Civil were engaged by the Shire of Bruce Rock to carry out a range of road repair works following flood damage across the Shire in early 2017. Works were carried out according to the Shire’s Core Business Report on the extent of the damage. Examples of works included a mixture of road re-grading with some re-sheeted with gravel. This was in addition to drainage repairs, road sealing and guide post repairs
across various locations.
Leeuwin also worked with local property owners, who provided gravel for repair works surveying the amount of gravel used to enable property owners to be recompensed by the Shire.
Scope of Works:
- road re-grading, including re-sheeted with gravel;
- drainage repairs;
- seal and guide posts repairs;
- traffic management; and
- surveying gravel pits to determine the amount of gravel supplied.
